05

Entering the Main Temple Area

Offer the brought worship tools at each shrine within the temple. It is recommended to offer 'pejati' at the Lingga Yoni Shrine, Ida Batara Lingsir Shrine, and Sri Sedana Shrine. At the Maha Dewi Parwati Shrine, it is recommended to offer 'bungkak nyuh gading' (young yellow coconut) containing 3-colored flowers as a symbol of Tri Murti (preferably frangipani, jasmine, and champaka flowers).

06

Lingga Yoni

Perform communal prayer led by the priest.

07

Ida Batara Lingsir

Pray and perform 'sungkem' (prostration) 3 times.

08

Maha Dewi Parwati

Perform 'Penglukatan' (purification) assisted by the priest. After that, swallow the flowers from the 'bungkak' and drink all the water from it as a form of self-purification and awakening of the chakras in the body.

09

Lingga Yoni

Perform puja by inserting the middle finger into the milk already in the pitcher, directly touching the lingga from behind while uttering 'Om Nama Siwa Ya', which means uniting 'akasa' (sky), 'pertiwi' (earth), Siwa Parwati, and Purusha Pradana for the balance of this world.

10

Tri Sakti Dewi

Perform 'sungkem' (prostration) to Sang Hyang Tri Dewi (Dewi Parwati, Dewi Saraswati, and Dewi Laksmi).
