Stages of Worship

01

Start from Pura Malen

Visitors can begin individual worship from Pura Malen, where they can offer Pejati or Canang Sari.

02

Tualen Statue

Offer Canang Sari in front of the statue and offer your personal prayers.

03

Ki Budhi Dharma

Offer Canang Sari and pray privately.

04

Catur Muka

Offer Canang Sari and worship privately.

05

Entering the Main Area of Pura Siwa

After Catur Muka, you will enter a gate guarded by two monkey statues. This signifies that visitors have entered the main area of Pura Siwa.

06

Offering before Worship

Offer the worship items you brought at each shrine in the main area of the temple. It is recommended to offer Pejati at Pelinggih Lingga Yoni, Pelinggih Ida Batara Lingsir, and Pelinggih Sri Sedana. Meanwhile, at Pelinggih Maha Dewi Parwati, it is highly recommended to offer bungkak nyuh gading (young yellow coconut) containing 3-colored flowers as a symbol of Tri Murti (prioritize sandat, jepun, and cempaka flowers).

07

Lingga Yoni

Communal worship led by our priest.

08

Ida Batara Lingsir

Offer your prayers and bow three times as a sign of deep respect.

09

Before Maha Dewi Parwati: The Penglukatan Ritual

Perform the Penglukatan ritual, assisted by our priest. Afterwards, swallow the flowers from the bungkak and drink all the water from the bungkak as a form of self-purification and awakening of the chakras in your body.

10

Pelinggih Dewa Siwa

Offer your prayers and bow three times as a sign of deep respect.

11

Return to Lingga Yoni

Perform puja by dipping your middle finger into the milk in the pitcher, touching the lingga directly from behind while chanting 'Om Nama Siwa Ya'. This symbolizes the unification of akasa, pertiwi, Shiva Parvati, Purusha Pradana for the balance of the universe.

12

Tri Sakti Dewi

Bow to Sang Hyang Tri Dewi (Dewi Parwati, Dewi Saraswati, and Dewi Laksmi) to ask for blessings.
